Samuel Yaw Osei Bonsu

Director

Samuel Yaw Osei Bonsu was born and raised in the east of the Nkoranza Brong East region in Ghana.
Over 20 years ago he moved to Germany after his graduation from technical school. 
Yaw is a multi faceted businessman with experience in many fields and industries including agriculture and hotel management as well as real estate development. 
All of these skills plus his professional demeanor make Yaw an integral member as a director of Y2B.

Kofi Obeng

General Manager

Kofi is multi talented, specializing in IT, he is considered by many of his peers as a tech genius who is proficient in an array of different computer languages and platforms.
As well as IT, Kofi is skilled in Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and overall business management.
With his professional acumen and disposition and impressive experience Kofi is the ideal person to control the daily operations as General Manager in all areas of Y2B.

'Eddie' Prince Brempong Baffoe

Director

Eddie was born and raised in the beautiful Ghanian region of Nkoranza, and for over 20 years has had extensive experience in hospitality operations in Tokyo and throughout Japan. 

Eddie started his career in the hospitality industry running restaurants in Ginza, and before being a Co Founder of ECN Hospitality, in 2009, Tokyo, he operated market leading bars and restaurants including the famous Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Oak Door Bar. He has also worked on ground breaking projects for the Hyatt hotel group including the Opening of Park Hyatt Shanghai and redevelopment of the bars for Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

Nathan Smith

Director

Nathan has worked within the Hyatt hotel group, primarily in Australia and Tokyo holding various management positions in the hotels’ restaurants, bars, event areas and executive management positions for over 10 years. He opened The Oak Door Steak House and Bar at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo in 2003, and has also opened and operated other Hyatt properties such as Park Hyatt Zurich and Park Hyatt Seoul. Soon after being promoted to Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo he was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage at Park Hyatt Tokyo at the end of 2005, and is also a Co Founder of ECN Hospitality Tokyo since 2009.

Matthew Crabbe

Director

Matthew has had experience in Australia working for the world renowned Tetsuya’s of Sydney amongst other high end restaurants. In Japan he has worked as the Head Chef of the acclaimed New York Grill and Bar at the Park Hyatt Tokyo and also the Grand Hyatt Tokyo as the Executive Sous Chef. In 2005, he was chosen as the opening Executive Chef of the Hyatt Regency Kyoto. He has extensive management experience around the globe in countries including England, U.S.A., Mexico and the Philippines and is also a Co Founder of ECN Hospitality Tokyo since 2009.
